Why Aβ42?

Amyloid beta (1-42) (Aβ42) is a core marker of amyloid biology, where reduced circulating levels are associated with increased amyloid plaque deposition in the brain. Measuring Aβ42 provides insight into early pathological changes and disease stage.

Kit performance and specifications

This SPLASH kit is designed to quantify Aβ42 protein in biofluids using a qPCR instrument. Each kit includes sufficient materials to run a total of 96 wells across two runs.

100% detectability of Aβ42 across all plasma and CSF samples using the SPLASH Kit: Aβ42 Singleplex.
